In July we’ll be doing yoga in the park in Eendrachtspark by this statue (‘Love Sphinx’ by Carel Kneulman who is famous for his statue Het lieverdje on Spui plein, Amsterdam). It’s a quiet spot that catches the evening sun.

Regular yoga classes in Amsterdam Nieuw-west have stopped for the summer.  Some students have suggested that we do yoga in a park nearby in July.  So this is the schedule:

Where and when for yoga in the park

We can meet on Wednesday, 10, 24  and 31 July.(Note there is no class in the park on Wednesday 17 July). We meet at 19:20 outside the usual yoga location–Huis van de Wijk ‘Multibox’, Jan de Louter straat, 19, and then we go together to the nearby Eendrachtspark. The yoga class starts at 19:30.   Bring along a mat if you have one. For those who don’t have a mat, I’ll be bringing some along, so no worries.

You can also make your own way there. Here is Eendrachtspark on Googlemaps. I have found a quiet spot that gets the late afternoon sun. It is located by the statue ‘Love Sphinx’ by Carel Kneulman.

See you either at the meeting point or in time for the class by the sphinx!
